| Your family tree research may give you the basis to write a more detailed life story for some of your ancestors.
Information from census, birth, marriage and death records will give you the basic information of where they lived, their occupation and family.
From this you can build up a more detailed picture.
For example, you could look more deeply at the census records to see who their neighbours were, and what they did. Was there a factory nearby where they may have worked, was there a pub on the corner of the street ?
You can often use Google Maps or similar online tools to pinpoint their location.
Did they move on in life ? Maybe they spent their childhood in a tenement block but then moved into a house. If you can trace them through successive census records then this will tell a story.
If they did military service you might look at military records for both datails of their service records and the units they served with.
